Project hey WKK - we build our own apps
It is generally known that WKK builds punching tools. What few people know: We also build our own apps. The apps replace forms filled out by hand.
The buzzwords Industry 4.0, digital transformation, mobile working, ... are topics we deal with.
The focus of our considerations is to map processes on a mobile basis and thus reduce the use of paper documents and Excel spreadsheets.
In the project "hey WKK" with the development platform engomo and a committed team, we have taken on this challenge and "built" our own mobile applications, which have the main focus of "bringing information to the front".
Topics we have realised so far are: tool repairs, CIP, error messages. We have reconstructed all data back to 2015 and thus have an extensive data history available 24/7 for all employees.
By networking the existing systems with the addition of new data, insights are created that were previously not visible in paper form or isolated Excel tables.
In particular, the possibility to extensively document the individual events with pictures increases the comprehensibility enormously if one is to understand the details in the history.
