When punching sheet metal parts, a metal burr can form on the punch break side. There are two different ways to remove it. On the one hand, at WKK we have developed the ability to remove the burr by "embossing the edges" in the punching tool. However, if the parts have to be cleaned afterwards, it makes sense to carry out the cleaning process in the same step as trowalizing. During barrel finishing, the individual parts are deburred by a small abrasion at the edges.
