We have our own hardening furnace in the tool shop, in which we can temper, heat and harden workpieces up to a size of 300 x 300 x 300 mm. Due to our own furnace in the tool shop, it is also possible for us to be very flexible in the repair of punching tools or in part testing. We also use the hardening furnace for punching tests in order to determine the influence of material changes. This is especially helpful for deep-drawing tests. The following procedures are examples of the methods we use:
- case-hardening
- recrystallisation annealing
- Intermediate stage hardening / bainitizing
- quenching and tempering
