Blechexpo Report
Blechexpo 2017 is already over again. Memories and stories are left behind. Managing Director Michael Wenk and Quality Manager Manuel Scarpa were on hand at the WKK stand. Michael Wenk reports on Blechexpo. Read here what a surprising insight he has come to.
"Our trade fair stand stands out because it is clearly different from the other stands. True to our motto: "enormously in shape", pictures of athletes in action are displayed on our billboards. With the WKK finger, we involve numerous trade fair visitors in valuable discussions. We present ourselves and show what we produce and where our limits lie with the striped pictures from follow-on cutting tools. We deliver bulk material at the lowest price, but with increasing requirements, we deliver magazined, oriented or simply stacked. We are flexible, many things are possible. What's the point of such a costly trade fair? This question arises again and again. Nobody wants to miss the chance to win new customers through personal contact. At the Blechexpo in Stuttgart, we once again seized the opportunity and landed a number of similar projects. It is of course our wish that this will result in recurring orders. The highlight will be the visit to the whiskey bar in the evening to play darts. A stranger is spontaneously integrated into the darts game and during the introduction he turns out to be a buyer of stamped parts from a large company. My assignment on Friday morning was not at the trade fair stand, but took place with a technical discussion at the customer's premises. Instead of just hanging around in the bars at the trade fair, there is no option, but we discussed this internally as well. In any case, we immediately registered for Blechexpo 2019 again."
